Description Regina Henschel 2014-04-15 10:31:48 UTC
I have installed the SDK of 4.1.0RC3 after installing the program itself. The program itself is installed into the same folder as the previous 4.0.1. The SDK is installed into this folder too and replaces the previous SDK there. But in the Windows 7 list of installed programs (German: Systemsteuerung > Programme und Funktionen) the previous version is still listed. Now I had the list items
4.01.9714 and 4.10.9763. I deinstalled the version "4.01.917" and it actually deinstalled the current SDK. I have used "repair" and all is ok now, but the installation behavior is not nice.

I can confirm the described installation behavior.

I observed the same for upgrading from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1

Currently, investigating former versions.

It seems to be no direct regression because of the change for the patch mechanism but indeed not nice. We will check it but I think it is no showstopper. I was able to reproduce it as well with the RC4
Comment 3 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2014-04-16 13:06:29 UTC
I observed the same for upgrading from 3.2.0 to 3.3.0 - after the installation of 3.3.0 SDK Window still tells me that 3.2.0 SDK is installed.
