Description tbordfeldt 2014-03-14 14:17:14 UTC
OO 4.0.1 on Xubuntu 12.04x64

I used the scanning tool in OO writer for the first time, but there occured some problems with the dpi-values in the resolution-dropdown-list. This list offers six options: 75, 100, 300, 600, 1200 or 2400 dpi. All these options are enabled, but only 75 or 2400 dpi can be choosed.

Can not reproduce - all the following are selectable: 75,100,200,300,600 DPI

In the scanner-dialogue in the resolution dropdown field I get 6 values: 75, 100, 300, 600, 1200 and 2400 dpi. If I choose 75 dpi, 75 dpi is displayed correctly. If I choose any other value, always 2400 dpi is displayed. So I can select all values, but only 75 or 2400 dpi is taken. If I choose 75 dpi, the picture is scanned in 2400 dpi instead.
Perhaps it's device specific. I use a Canon LiDE110 Scanner.

I believe you are correct.
For me it is 300 DPI.
AOO 75 DPI : 476*358 pixels = 1.59 in. * 1.19 in. = 300 DPI
AOO 300 DPI : 1877*1405 pixels = 6.26 in. * 4.68 in. = 300 DPI
AOO 600 DPI : 3684*2692 pixels = 12.28 in. * 8.98 in. = 300 DPI

I used FastStone Image Viewer 5.0 via Wine for image properties.
