   Bug: Link is broken

Additional info:
----------------
Mail contains some text "You may now log in by clicking this link ..." with a link following. but that link is obviously broken, it ends with 3 dots. So clicking this link can not work, and advice "or copying and pasting it to your
browser" also is nonsense, the "link" with the dots at it's and can not work.

A link what will work directly by clicking and also after copy/paste linktext into browser is contributed at the end of the mail.
Why bothering users with that additional broken link?

Suggestion:
At position of the broken link simply contribute the correct link, what will make the postscriptum [1] superfluous.

If I try, I receive an HTML e-mail with a clickable (working) link. I confirm that the link is truncated (...) in the text, but the hyperlink is correct. And if I right-click on it and copy the link, the full link is available.

Maybe you disabled HTML mail in your user preferences? Do you get a text-only mail or an HTML mail?

(In reply to Andrea Pescetti from comment #1)

I can't confirm andrea's observations, so I forwarded the e-mai I received to Andrea.

In my extensions-account I have enabled "Plaintext email only"
In My E-Mail-Client I see e-mails as full HTML.

The mail I received contains the link for Password reset 2 times.

(a) In text. that one is crippled. Only a (lons) start of the complete
hyperlink is shown, truncated at the end, where instead of the rest of the
    URL "... " is shown.
And when I click the link or copy / paste it from Seamonkey E-Mail client
only the part in front of "..." will be used
(b) Link repeated at the end after "[1]"
This link is complete and works correct.

So for me the "a" link is completely useless.

OK, so the difference is probably due to the HTML Mail setting in our profiles.

My profile -> HTML Mails enabled -> I receive an HTML mail with a clickable link (even if the text is truncated, the link works)

Your profile -> HTML Mails disabled -> You receive a text-only mail with the full link only as note [1].

Is this still happening? Works for me now (no "..." in HTML mails; but didn't try with text mails).
