Build infor:
AOO410m1(Build:9750)  -  Rev. 1555657 on redhat 32-bit
Step:
1. tar -zxvf Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Linux_x86_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz_2014-01-06_04_31_12_1555657.tar
cd en-US/RPMS
2. rpm -ivh --force *.rpm
cd desktop-integration
3. rpm -ivh --force openoffice4.0-redhat-menus-4.0-9714.rpm


Issue:
Install successfully,but can't open AOO through menu and soffice

But AOO401m5(Build:9714)  -  Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:41 - Linux i686 on redhat 32-bit install and open aoo successfully

What do you get if you run the "soffice" executable in a terminal?

So it seems it reoccurred something like
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=119385

I'm not 100% sure, but probably the buildbots are still using a more modern Linux distribution than the one we use for creating the release builds. Release builds are expected to run with glibc >= 2.5, see issue above.
