Description gemal 2003-03-16 14:37:54 UTC
if you have two sheet and is currently on sheet one and then right click on the
sheet two in the bottom:
[sheet 1][sheet 2]

and select rename you're actually renaming sheet one and not two. This is very
very annoying.

Currently you have to switch to sheet 2 to rename it.

This enhancement will get into the next milestone.

Is it possible to add this ability for selecting anything. In MS
Office, when you right click, it selects the cell, row marker, column
marker, sheet... and then gives you the contextual menu. In OO I
always have to remember to left click then right click. For new users
this would be troublesome.

The functionality for right clicking in MS office is the proper way
and should be 'borrowed'.

Should this request go into a new item?

Hello, there will be some change at the rename-handling of sheets. As there is
not available a spec about (but will be for OO.o 2.0), please keep this on your
owner. Thank you.

This feature has changed in the current version of OOo 2.0. Therefore I will
close this task.
