AOO410m1(Build:9750)  -  Rev. 1525015
2013-09-24_04:09:45 - Rev. 1525769

4.0.1 RC3 testing
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-09-25 14:22:12 UTC
NOT reproducible with  "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English  UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750)  -  Rev. 1525917 - 2013-09-25]" on German WIN7 Home
Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.

Linux only? Build related?

@Edwin Sharp:
What's the meaning of "4.0.1 RC3 testing"?
Comment 2 Edwin Sharp 2013-09-25 14:26:48 UTC
The bug is reported for the 4.0.1 release candidate 3 testing according general testing list by Mr. Yu Zhen.
Comment 3 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-09-25 14:34:57 UTC
And what does AOO410m1(Build:9750) ... mean? Additionally reproducible on Trunk?

All OK with WIN

4 center cells in Table are selected, nothing unexpected in Toolbar.

@Edwin:
What icons are inactive? Is a pattern visible?

Updating fields.
Comment 7 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-09-25 20:53:40 UTC
Strange! I recommend to try a new build and to discuss that with other Linux64 users.
Comment 8 Edwin Sharp 2013-09-26 19:41:11 UTC
Description is valid also for:

AOO401m5(Build:9714)  -  Rev. 1524958
2013-09-20 11:54 - Linux x86_64
Comment 9 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-09-26 20:31:03 UTC
Hm, I think we need a very complete description of your Linux system, my suspect is tat those problems are related to distribution, KDE or whatever
Comment 10 Edwin Sharp 2013-09-28 18:00:45 UTC
Confirmed on another PC.

Rev. 1524958 Debian
Comment 11 Andrea Pescetti 2013-09-29 07:13:16 UTC
The table toolbar is perfectly working for me on Linux 64 with RPM packages (revision 4.0.1, "AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958"). I see all buttons active, much like Rainer's Windows screenshot.

Packaging should not be a major factor here, but did you see this with DEB packages only or with RPM too?

Is it a gnome or a kde system? Please provide more details, also about the version of the system e.g. the output from cat /etc/*elease*

screenshot from AOO 4.0.0 on Windows 7

I reproduced the described behavior on Windows 7 64bit with OOo 3.3.0, AOO 3.4.0, AOO 4.0.0 and AOO 4.0.1 - see attached screenshot from my AOO 4.0.0 on Windows 7 64bit
