Last modified: 2013-10-07 13:36:21 UTC
1. File - New - Presentation 2. Click on Click to add text - Insert - Table... - OK 3. Highlight cells in table 4. View - Toolbars - Table Most icons are disabled. AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1525015 2013-09-24_04:09:45 - Rev. 1525769 4.0.1 RC3 testing
NOT reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1525917 - 2013-09-25]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile. Linux only? Build related? @Edwin Sharp: What's the meaning of "4.0.1 RC3 testing"?
The bug is reported for the 4.0.1 release candidate 3 testing according general testing list by Mr. Yu Zhen.
And what does AOO410m1(Build:9750) ... mean? Additionally reproducible on Trunk?
Created attachment 81651 [details] All OK with WIN 4 center cells in Table are selected, nothing unexpected in Toolbar. @Edwin: What icons are inactive? Is a pattern visible?

Strange! I recommend to try a new build and to discuss that with other Linux64 users.
Description is valid also for: AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:54 - Linux x86_64
Hm, I think we need a very complete description of your Linux system, my suspect is tat those problems are related to distribution, KDE or whatever
Confirmed on another PC. Rev. 1524958 Debian
The table toolbar is perfectly working for me on Linux 64 with RPM packages (revision 4.0.1, "AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958"). I see all buttons active, much like Rainer's Windows screenshot. Packaging should not be a major factor here, but did you see this with DEB packages only or with RPM too?
Deb
Is it a gnome or a kde system? Please provide more details, also about the version of the system e.g. the output from cat /etc/*elease*
