Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 122891
MSO .xlsx fails to import properly: Rows not colored, Missing Border, and Data Missing Err:509
Last modified: 2013-08-09 14:02:08 UTC
This bug was tested OpenOffice v4.0 running in windows 7 and XP. It appears that OpenOffice loses formatting when importing MS xlsx files. I have attached an example. Steps to reproduce the bug: 1. Open attachment 81201 [details] Demo-2012SummerOlympics.xlsx document in calc 2. Open attachment 81201 [details] Demo-2012SummerOlympics.xlsx document in Excel2010/Office 365 3. Compare the documents. From the attached screenshot, please note: Item #1 from the screenshot that the rows should alternate from white to blue. Item #2 in the screenshot that the border is missing from the row. Item #3 in the screenshot instead of showing the data, there is an err:509 I believe these 3 are all using Excel's Format As Table feature.
Created attachment 81203 [details] Comparison of xlsx doc in Excel vs Calc 2
Confirmed with Excel 2007 and Calc Rev. 1507307 Win 7.
also reproduced in OOo 3.3.0 -> adjusting field Version accordingly
