Steps:
1. Create a table and add some fields
2. Select the table in Tables pane, and click "Edit" from context menu (Table Design window displays)
3. Select an existing filed and try to edit it (update / delete)

Actual result: cannot
Expected result: CAN

mmh, is it a problem related to db2 only or a general problem with databases? Currently I don't think this is a showstopper

It's not the general problem with all databases, it works for embedded database created in AOO. I agree it's not a showstopper at this point.

Providing more information,  in a table of Text database for CSV:
1. Cannot update existing fields
2. Can delete existing fields

I am not sure if it is a problem and what's the function spec for it, but will address it in a bug to open discussion
