I'm installing OpenOffice.org 1.0.2 using a response file. I actually start
the installation program from within a Wise installation script. It appears
that if a previous version (1.0.1) of OOo is already present on the machine the
install of 1.0.2 continues but does not upgrade or replace the earlier version
so I end up with two versions of OpenOffice.org. Is there a way to tell the
install to replace the earlier version?

Thanks for your help.

As you have written: There is no way to upgrade OOo 1.0.1 with 1.0.2.
We have a bunch of feature requests for this painful missed feature.
