Description Unknown 2003-03-11 02:07:16 UTC
Selecting Close from the file menu exits OpenOffice rather than just closing the current file window.

Was there a window open? If not, then I would say this was OK
behaviour, although ideally in this case, the "Close" item should
be dimmed and not available.

This only occurs when there is only one window open. If I have a document
and a spreadsheet open or simply more than one window open, the close
menu item behaves as expected; it closes the active window. It does not
matter what combination of windows are open, as long as there is more than
one the close menu item works properly, When there is only one window of
any type it exits the application.

Actually I believe this is expected behaviour of OOo on all
platforms (but I could be wrong) - when the last window has
been closed, OOo exits. Not Mac OS friendly behaviour I would
admit.
