Description Unknown 2003-03-09 10:57:40 UTC
I create data entry lists using Autopilot Forms.
I then change a text box to a combobox and use another dBase table as list. I
have the following problems:
1. When I use autopilot to select the dBase and table I want to create the list
from, I found that Autopilot does not actually add that dBase to be used. I have
to goto Properties|Data and re select the list and also select tables as the
function (defaults to SQL). If I don't do that, and I reload the form or exit
edit mode, OO loads a blank page (as a form) and then locks up my PC. I have to
Cnrtl-Alt-del to close OO.

2. If I do do the changes as above, and I use a dBase with one table, I can exit
edit mode and the Combobox will work. But when I reenter form edit mode, the
combo box (and it's label) disappear. I can still select it, as the green boxes
around it appear, but I don't see the Combobox.

3. If I select a table in a dBase with multiple tables. I can create and exit
edit mode, but when I want to use the combobox, I get "an unrecoverable error
has occured"
Then I get program has performed an iligal operation with:

SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in
module COMPHELP2.DLL at 015f:0066c65d.

I get this 4 or five times before OO shuts down.

okay, I fixed the crash. (forms/source/component/ComboBox.cxx 1.19.42.1)

Quentin, I am not quite sure what you wanted to state with the first
two items in your original submission, and thus I don't understand the
potential bugs you describe there.
Can we please keep one problem per issue, which would mean that you
re-submit the first two problems you have as new issue? (or perhaps
introduce them in users@dba to first clarity whether it's a problem).

"One problem per issue" is an approach which really helps tracking
what is going on ....
