Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 120372
used font colors are not stored in the last row of the font color window
Last modified: 2015-10-07 04:03:40 UTC
as I use different colors for my fonts the last colors that I have used should be stored in the last row, which starts as a white color row and should be replace with the last colors that I have used. to replicate this bug: select and use any color, I chose blue 3. then select another color, I chose blue 4. again select the first color you used, in my case blue 3. now you should have blue 3 and blue 4 stored in the last row which is filled with only white squares. seems that it is not saving the colors that have been used.
I do not understand your description. How do you set the color? For example (1) In the "Font color" drop down list on the "Font effects" dialog page of a paragraph style. (2) In the "Font color" drop down list on the "Font effects" dialog page of a character style. (3) In the "Font color" drop down list on the "Font effects" dialog page of a direct setting via Format > Character or context menu > Character (4) Via the "Font color" table of the "Font Color" icon in the formatting toolbar. What do you mean with "stored in the last row"? If you want a consistent style of different parts of your text, the correct way to do it, is to define a style and apply it to all those parts.
Configuration Information: Windows 8 64-bit OpenOffice 4.2.0 AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1692551 My attempt to replicate the bug: 1- I clicked on the the "Font Color" icon in the formatting toolbar. 2- I selected the color "blue 3". 3- I clicked on the the "Font Color" icon in the formatting toolbar. 4- I selected the color "blue 4". 5- I clicked on the the "Font Color" icon in the formatting toolbar. I was not able to replicate the bug. Can you attache a screenshot that shows the "white squares" in in the last row of the font color table? Also, please write how did you change the font color, there are many different ways to change the font color. Finally, I did not find ant related reports in the database.
