Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11970
Can't set tabs on large selection
Last modified: 2003-09-16 17:41:55 UTC
If I select more than 255 lines, I can't set/reset tab stops. Also, even if all the text is identical, the style, font type, and size displays disappear as if there were different fonts in the selection. I can still change all the formatting, except for tab stops.
Thank you for using and supporting OOo. Does this problem still exist in 1.0.3.1? If so, could you please attach a small file that reproduces this problem?
Created attachment 7023 [details] Test case with 256 identical lines.
I'm new at IssueZilla, so forgive me if the following has already reached you. Adding the attachment seems to have cleared my previous comments. ======== Yes, the problem still exists on 1.0.3.1. However, I had a problem saving with 1.0.3.1, causing OOo to crash whenever I attempted saving. I have reverted to 1.0.2 to get some work done and have saved a sample file, which I attached recently. This file was generated by just performing lots of copy-pastes, so it consists of 256 identical lines. If you select up to, and including, line 255, everything seems to work fine. If you add line 256 to the selection, all format settings disappear and I am unable to modify the tab stops. Hope this helps. -Marc
