1. install oo3.4 and open, then close, make sure quickstarter exists in the tray.
2. uninstall oo3.4 from YaST->Software Management

I notice that the quickstarter remains in the tray

3. install oo3.3 and launch

release info in help->about is incorrect and I cannot new any document

screenshot of help->about is attached

exit quickstarter then relaunch will be OK

not only the quickstarter, upgrade or uninstall with openoffice running, no error or warning and the process can go through..

When trying to update 3.4.0 > 3.4.1 on W7 64Bit, the same issue.
Only no workaraound: There is no quickstarter present, and no instance of OO running.
Trying to uninstall, and than install newer version, same problem: Uninstaller exits, without uninstalling, same as installer exits without ungrading.
So: OO 3.4.0 can not be uninstalled.
OO 3.4.1 can not be installed.
