Description Jens611 2011-10-26 05:30:36 UTC
When printing an older document the program disregarded the existing printer settings, tray, quality etc.
Comment 1 Marcus 2011-10-26 11:22:29 UTC
First, please note that this is no bug or request but a support question. For
those we have different channels (see
"http://support.openoffice.org/index.html"), but not this issue tracker.

With this information the issue is not reproducible.

You are wrong, because it is a bug. There are two menu items for printing, where the last one is the printer settings menu. Each property set in this menu item should still exist, if the document was closed or the whole OO is closed.

After opening OO again the printer settings should be those mad during the last opening of the document.

S inc e 3.3 this does not work any longer - at least here on my side!

OK, then it seems to maybe broken on Windows as I cannot reproduce on Linux. New documents get the default printer setup and existing docs the saved printer connection.

Open an existing document
File - Printer Settings... - Options... - Pages - uncheck Right -> Save button disabled.
