Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 118335
Auto save / recovery info leaves security hole if using encrypted volume
Last modified: 2014-06-05 13:55:11 UTC
I have some OO documents within an encrypted volume (truecrypt). This volume will automatically unmount when the computer shuts down either expectedly or unexpectedly. If an OO document within the volume is open during an unclean shut down then the auto save info allows the documents to be recovered when the computer is next started up, even though the volume they are supposed to be in is unmounted. This problem could be solved if there were the option to keep autosave / recovery information for each document in the same folder as the document, rather than centrally.
getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity". For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
I want to turn auto recovery off because everytime a user logs into there machine it pops up and wants to recover a couple of documents. Everytime it logs off and back on it does it and also radomly throughout the day it does it. I am doing this for OpenOffice automation ....and my next question is as like i said i am doing automation it is not possible every time i can close that openoffice writer document manualy. Another question. How do you get to the starting command to enter in that -norecover. I am running OpenOffice 4.1.0 .
