Press the "Data Sources" button and select a "Table".

Select a column and apply an A-Z sort.
   The columns focus is lost.

This may seem petty but the then do a Z-A sort the column has to be selected
again ! It's also inconsistent :-)

This also applies to filtering the table, or every other action which
implicitly or explicitly reloads the form.

targeting to 1.1 Beta - this is a minor issue we can (riskless) care
about in this time frame.
however, changing prio to 4.

Ocke, can you please fix this using the css.form.XGrid on the grid
control? It allows to set/get the current column position.

this issue is fixed in OOo 1.1 Beta2 which is available at
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/1.1beta2/.

I don't know if the routine is to re-open ORs or to raise new ones.  
 
This issue is not 100% done yet. The sort focus now appears to remain on the 
selected column. However, the UI gives no indication that this is the case. 
I.e. the lowered column header button raises and the column looses its blue 
selected colour.  
 
Tested in OOo 1.1.0
