Description geisman 2011-01-21 16:22:35 UTC
Power Point slides that have text boxes and/or other objects and also contain
animations are not functioning properly in Open Office Impress
When these types of slides are played in Open Office, they require a mouse click
to begin the animation even though the custom animation settings are set to
begin 'with previous'.
I think if the slide is actually created in Open Office, it works properly, but
when imported from a Power Point, something is lost in translation.

Also playing a video in powerpoint is not working - but I think that is already
know. It will play from the internet put not embedded video.

I attached the PPT. This power point works fine under MS - however it never
advances in openoffice. you have to hit a key.
Comment 4 geisman 2011-01-24 15:37:13 UTC
I know its set for advance on mouse click but MS in slide show mode does not
require this for some reason.

I am still trying to get the copy of the original PPT with the text boxes.
