The dmake code is getting cluttered with platform specific code.  Remove this
code and make it tested in the configure script.

There was also a bad patch merge that has been removed from a couple of sources.

Also removes one of the incorrect license attributions.

Also remove all conf.h from all directories.  These are not used and should be
deleted.

checked on linux and windows and it works.
