The title of the first slide should show immediately (115921). The video (which you can substitute with any video file on your filesystem) is the LAST item of the slide and shows fully scaled to the size of the slide. (807.50 KB, application/vnd.ms-powerpoint)

Description jtheide 2010-12-04 15:46:39 UTC
When importing a slide with an embedded video object from powerpoint (pps)
1: it plays out of sequence (as the first thing of the slide in stead of when
the animation tells it to start)
2. it stays visible in the background making the background black
3. it does not scale properly (original size in stead of full screen)

Please attach a document for reproducing. Thanks.

Is the video included or is it linked? It does not show in PPT, too.

Like I said, take any video, name and place it as the error message expects and go.

But even if the file does not exist the slide should show normally and complain
only when it is the video's turn

OS: Windows 7
Software: Microsoft Powerpoint 2007, Open Office Impress (OOo 3.4.0)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new presentation in PowerPoint
2. Create a title slide
3. Create a second slide with a title
4. Add a video to the second slide
5. Verify the video works in the slideshow (through a slideshow preview)
6. Save as xxxx.ppt
7. Open xxxx.ppt in Open Office Impress
8. Preview slideshow

Expected result: Title slide is visible first, then video starts.
Actual result: Title shows up first, video starts right after. Video plays
correctly.

Comments: I think what jtheide was trying to do, is have a slide with text on it
to display first, and then have a video start playing over that slide. The way I
understand it, I'm not sure if you can have a video overlap the text in the
slide on command.
