Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 115758
[AutoCorrect] "Correct TWo INitial CApitals" doesn't work well for zh
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:30:43 UTC
Correct TWo INitial CApitals If you type two uppercase letters at the beginning of a "WOrd", the second uppercase letter is automatically replaced with a lowercase letter. But in OOo-zh, if you type "中M日韩" in writer, then ENTER, you maybe expected get "中M日韩", but really you got "中m日韩" (M is automatically replaced with a lowercase letter). regards Li Meiying

Created attachment 75114 [details] Compare "want to get" and "force to get"
CJK characters shouldn't take part in the Initial capital conversion. When English embeded in CJK characters, initial capital should affect English words only. For example: We type: 他说What's your name是问您的名字。 We get: 他说what's your name是问您的名字。
reassigned
Word processor to Framework Because this issue exists in every component.
@amy2008: you are right, Framework, not Writer, but if you leave the owner at "writerneedsconfirm", in the end, it's still Writer ;) @OS: please have a look.
@es,Thank you for your hint. Li Meiying
