The "Check for Updates" link in the menu bar Help returns "Checking for updates 
failed" message after a brief "checking" time of one or two seconds. OO3.2.1 
OOO320m18(build:9502) on WXP SP3 current. Have been using OO since 3.0 and have 
not experienced this previously. Can't say exactly when this started as I don't 
check for updates regularly. The check for extension seems to work as it finds 
a French language extension update.
