Description preahkumpii 2010-10-23 03:10:27 UTC
I am running OpenOffice that shipped with Ubuntu Maverick. When using Khmer, I
enter these two keys, [any cosonant: u1780-17a2] + u17be, the resulting
syllable
does not render correctly. The problem *ONLY occurs with the 'KhmerOS Freehand'
and 'KhmerOS Fasthand' fonts*. All other fonts shipped in that font set, which
is the standard KhmerOS set work, correctly. Further, this problem only occurs
in OpenOffice, not in gedit or any other program on my Ubuntu system. I can
provide screenshots of both the way it looks and the way it is supposed to look
if needed. I appears that OpenOffice is rendering vowel u17c1 BEFORE it renders
the inputted vowel u17be. I found this by inputting the consonant + u17c1 +
u17be (which, as designed, does not work correctly). Lastly, if you input only
u17be by itself, without a consonant, it renders two of the same symbols before
the consonant, instead of only one, as it is should.
