Description issues@www 2001-06-30 18:17:19 UTC
The Installation Routine Crashs dirctly before it ends, you can't uninstall the
software, and it isn't running.
I tried Build 627 and 632.
I'm using 2000 SP2 on a PII 450 with 650Mb and a lot of gigs ;-)

Thanks

I could install the Build 632! But only for one time ;-)
I installed the java-enviroment1.18 (i know it is too old) and then the setup
works correctly.
But 632 was too unstable, so i wanted to try 627. I tried it at the same
constelation, but it crashed on the end. Then I installed the java env. 1.2,
but setup crashed at end, then i tried 632, but - you know it - it crashed..

PS.: when you're using the scrollbars in any window of the setup, it crashes ;-)
But that is not the solution, for the crash on the end, isn't it?

Hi Rolf,
Two questions:
- you don't get any error message?
- do I understand you right, setup isn't working when you use java 1.2 but it
runs with java 1.1.8?
Ok, three questions:
- do you clean up you system? Means: did you remove you old office files or do you use the same directories? If yes: please don't do so.
