Description drey_tee 2010-09-03 18:38:43 UTC
At "save as" dialog boxes trying to save a file:
1) cursor in the filename box filled with correct filename,
2) pressing Enter,
3) getting confirmation dialog box with overwrite question and "yes"/"no"
buttons
4) moving focus to the yes by left key on the keyboard
5) pressing enter/Spacebar to activate a button
6) button is pressed (visually), but no effect is done.
7) "no" button has the same effect (no effect excluding visual "pushing")
8) Double escape makes this dialog box disappear. First "unpushes" the button if
pushed and second does the work - escapes dialog box.

At "search", "about" and others dialog boxes of "calc" and "writer" openoffice
products I see th same behavior.

I can't confirm. It works like charm in OOO330_m6 what will be the OOo 3.3.0.
Have you tried that with the native OOo?

This bug is noticed on my eee pc901 with ooo300m16.
On another laptop ooo310m19 works fine.

What do you mean by saying "native"?
I am periodically check for and do all updates. I must download latest OOO
version and install it?

"Native OOo" means downloaded at http://download.openoffice.org/index.html. You
can check that in OOo 3.2.1 or have to wait for OOo 3.3.
If you use OOo that comes with your Linux distribution you should refer to that
distributor.
