Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 114063
selective printing of headers and footers
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:39:41 UTC
In many cases (especially in companies), the letter-head and the footer are already printed on the paper. These are printed in mass using offset printers. When sending an electronic version (PDF) of the document, we need to have the headers and footers. But when printing this document onto paper, we should not print the headers/footers as they are already on the paper. Currently there seems to be no way to have one document to be printed differently based on the context.
Add option to only print headers / footers of a document.
mru: No, thats not what I am looking at. I need an option to print the content without the headers/footers. But the content's format/spacing/* should not be changed. The header/footer space should be left empty in the printed output (pdf/paper/*).
IMHO, the best place for such an option would be in the 'printer options'.
