Description jdmulloy 2010-07-01 04:51:38 UTC
If you create a numbered list with a font size of 16 pts to about 22 pts there is
a dramatic increase in the indent when the list goes from the 9th entry to the
10th. If the font size is smaller, like 12 pts or 14 pts this issue does not
occur. If the font size is larger than 22 pts then the indent is large even for 1
to 9.

I could find no way to work around this flaw.

You have to adapt the settings in "Format.bullets and Numbering.Position".
This is not a support forum, please refer to mailing list “users@openoffice.org”
or http://support.openoffice.org or use F1 in Writer.

I shouldn't have to change any settings. The defaults are wrong. How is a non-
technical user like my mother supposed to know this? This is a bug.

I was going to say that Microsoft Word handles this just fine but I just checked
Word 2000 and it has the same flaw. I don't know about newer versions.

This is indeed a problem with several defaults.
Problem which is already known.

On my last comment on issue 98748, you will find workarounds for this.
