Description Unknown 2003-02-06 19:26:30 UTC
I have a text document with objects copied in from another program.
The document opens just fine, but OpenOffice 1.0.2 crashes when I try
to print the file. The problem occurs under both Windows ME and
Windows 98.

If the objects are removed, the remaining text in the document prints
just fine. If the document is exported as a Word 97 document and
loaded into Microsoft Word, loading and printing also go off without
a hitch.

The offending objects are created with a program called GoWrite
(version 1.4p), which can be downloaded at
http://personal.eunet.fi/pp/paatero/GoWrite1.html

A sample file (50 kb) is available if someone needs it if someone
needs it.

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

Does this problem still exist in 1.0.3.1?

I realize this first test does not use the same environment, but RH
9.0 and 1.0.3.1 can print the document to a file.

Will test on Windows later

Unable to verify on WinNT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 1.0.3.1.

Please try using OOo 1.0.3.1 to see if this problem still exists.

Hi pwaldron,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice...

I opened your sample document on Solaris using OpenOffice1.1RC3 and all
went fine : no crash and the printout was fine...

please try again with the newest version (OpenOffice1.1RC4) and send a
new comment if your problem occurs again...

If there's no new comment until 09/26/2003 this Issue will be closed...
