Description gcreegan 2010-06-09 03:56:19 UTC
I just upgraded from version 3.0 to 3.1 and now my Excel spreadsheet VBA macros won't run any more. I
get an error box which says "A scripting framework error has occurred..." I can run the macros manually
but not from their "assigned" control buttons. This used to work perfectly until 3.1.
Thanks,
George

Spreadsheet with VBA and "buttons" to run scripts

Good luck. It's been a long time but I hope you can get this to work on newer versions of Calc. So far I've been sticking with 3.0. Please let me know it you get the file OK.

All I can tell you is that the file I sent you (Database with VBA.xls) opens and runs in Neooffice 3.0, MS Excel 2000 and Libreoffice 3.5. I can't imagine why you have problems with it. Should I have sent it as an "attachment" instead of following the link on the bug report screen? Would that have made a difference? Let me know what more I can do.

I just now downloaded the file I sent you from the bugzilla page and I have no problem opening it. So, I looks like you got it intact. By the way, the sheet has macros so you'll need to have that feature enabled in your security settings. Maybe that was the problem??
