When I "overline" or "tilde" or "widehat" something the lines are too far form the text resulting 
in a strange looklike formula.

es. if I write {widehat a} the system puts up a hat on a, but 
there's a space between a and the hat that an other letter could be conteined in it

Already fixed in 643 C build.

Yes, fixed in OO 643C. Issue #3780 already described the problem.
