Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 109383
Regression: Field shading turns to white on some background colours, makes white text non-readable
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:26:02 UTC
Hi. Please open the attached document in OOo Writer (Linux). The content of the text field is not readable (see attached screen shot) while the print preview is correct. (Windows build seems to be not affected since I do not remember that I have seen this bug on Windows.)

Can confirm this on my XP. This is not a crash nor a loss of information, thus P2 is not suitable. This problem seems highly related to issue 70089; there the field shading turns to white when character background is white. Here the field shading turns to white when text background is black. Then the contained text must also turn from white to another color.
Seems to be a regression in OOo 3.2. Look at the attached screen shot ooo311.png. The 3.1.1 (portable) build is not affected by this bug.
