Hi,

I got excited when I found that when you closed the last document in
OpenOffice.org 643C that OpenOffice.org stayed opened.

This small change was probably one of the most required features from an
average users point of view. I found that as most people are used to using
Word. With Word when the last document is closed word still remains open.
This closing of OpenOffice.org was a sore point and had to be worked around by
every user. Well done guys.

However, I found the feature can cause an unrecoverable error.

With no document open select Tools, Options. Click on the + in front of
OpenOffice.org, Click on User Data, Click on General, click on Memory and at
this point the options stop working.

Now click on Okay and you get an unrecoverable error.

Great new feature. Pity about the bug. I have full confidence however that
this will be corrected.

Thanks,

Kelvin.

On the bright side, it's not likely to cause much data loss :-)

I can't reproduce this with OpenOffice 1.1beta2 on either Linux or
WinXP. Guess they've fixed it since the version you tried.

Please reopen this issue if you find the problem still happening
with the latest beta. Thanks!
