Sorry if this is a duplicate, my session timed out when I entered this the
first time, I was not able to find the issue so here it is again.

1. In excel (I used excel 97, win2k) create a spreadsheet.
2. In cell A1 enter 01/15/2003 and save as Microsoft excel 97/2000/XP .xls
3. In open office open the spread sheet. The date in cell A1 will be 01/14/2003.
4. In cell A2 enter 01/15/2003 and save.
5. Re-open the spread sheet in excel, the date in A2 will be 01/16/2003.

I have tried adjusting the date display and cell formating with no success.

Thanks.
