Description pepevilluela 2009-11-11 18:02:41 UTC
The logical way people expects a filter in a subform works is filtering in
master form too, because people uses it to find what master records contains
selected slave records in the subform. Currently Base shows master records that
have no match in subforms records.
I think in previous versions that made forms with Write this worked well.
This feature can't be found in MS Access, but can in Lotus Approach.

excuse me, but what's the difference between this issue here and issue 106828?
Comment 2 Frank Schönheit 2009-11-13 10:42:46 UTC
you removed the dependency between the two issues, but still, I do not get the
difference. To me, both issues describe the same feature request (which is
legitimate, IMO).
