Description jr 2009-11-11 13:23:59 UTC
See attached document:

- option buttons yes / no are grouped (same name), both have different help texts
- option buttons A / B / C are not grouped, also have different help texts
- exporting the document to PDF, the option buttons yes and no get both the same
help texts, option buttons A / B / C are ok

Not sure, if this is a limitation of the pdf-format itself?

Confirmed

actually the correct text is in the PDF, only Acrobat reader insists on showing
the text of the first radio button in the group ... still searching as to why.
Comment 6 philipp.lohmann 2010-01-29 14:47:47 UTC
Acrobat itself exports the tooltips (and tons of other stuff) as XFA (meaning
there is a special embedded XML stream describing each form control).
Unfortunately this is a feature that came in with PDF-1.5 whereas OOo does
PDF-1.4. Since the tooltip is now given by the /TU entry for each widget and
that entry is correct for each RadioButton, there is no valid solution until we
switch to PDF-1.5 as export format. Which we should do at some point (for lots
of reasons), but not in a 3.3 timeframe I fear.
