Description Unknown 2001-06-19 22:50:25 UTC
I attached a .sdw file from my solaris box at work for issue 1018 which could
not be opened by Goolie.

I attached a .sdw file from my windows box at home for issue 1049 which could
not be opened by Louis.

What's the deal?
Thanks,
Michelle

assigning to myself
Comment 2 Unknown 2001-07-06 19:24:28 UTC
Michelle,

On these issues Goolie and Louis both indicate they have seen the documents, and
I am able to open the attachments with SO5.2 so I am marking the issue closed.

Thank you
Kat

Kat,

I had to send files to Goolie several times because he could not access them.
If there's no issue here, how are files accessed?

I find the issue, scroll to bottom where comments are appended, find the comment
where it says:
------- Additional Comments From Michelle Milledge 2001-06-18 20:52 -------

Created an attachment (id=286)
roadmap

(this is from IZ 1049) I click on "Created an attachment (id=286)" and I get a
download window listing a file as "showattachment.cgi"

How do I access the file? It's a .sdw

Thanks for any help,
Michelle

Kat,
This is actually a fairly important issue, and I'd like to resolve it, as much for curiosity's sake as for anything else. I know this is not quite in your bailiwick. But can you take a stab at it? If not, whom should we assign it to?
-louis
FYI: as it happens, I can open the files using SO, but they still read "attachment.cgi". I haven not reproduced the generating phenomenon, ie., it could be an issue with Michelle's set up.
Comment 5 Unknown 2001-07-12 16:38:58 UTC
I agree, it _could_ be my set up but for instance, the Roadmap (.sdw) was put up
from home (Windows 98/Netscape) while other things are usually put up at work
(Solaris/Netscape). So unless the Roadmap was different from everything else
and worked perfectly, it's not particular to files uploaded from my setup at
work.

As agreed by Louis I will close these resolved fixed kat (support)-owned issues
now. If you have trouble with that, please re-open the issue.
