Description Unknown 2003-01-09 18:37:11 UTC
On PC computers with various Microsoft Windows OS, where is installed support
for Serbian and/or Slovenian input locales and languages I have encountered the
following problems:
 1. On a number of computers (not all of them) when printing documents
containing some Serbian/Slovenian characters, edited from Writer (perheps this
would be the same using the other OO tools - I didn't try this), these
characters are displayed as they should be, but not being printed correctly.
For example, instead of , it prints space. I believe it has something to do
with the way the Windows instalation is configured, since on other computers
with the same OS and the Open Office identicaly installed it works fine.
 2. On computers with MS Windows 98 there is also a problem when displaying
those characters within the Writer. Any single character is displayed
correctly, but when typing a text, some overlaping of characters occurs.
Comment 1 Unknown 2003-01-16 12:05:10 UTC
I should correct myself about the first part of my problem. Reason
for misprinting Serbian/Slovenian characters was not in Open Office,
or Windows, but in the printer itself. Namely, the printer is HP,
model 6p, and it uses by default some preloaded fonts, where
characters in question are not supported. So it just needs to be told
not to use preloaded fonts...
Yet, the second problem, about displaying these characters in some
unusuall letter combinations, still remains.

Comment 4 ulf.stroehler 2003-04-01 06:22:08 UTC
Pls. attach a bugdoc and state what is the exact language version of
your Win98 installation. Serbian?
Comment 5 ulf.stroehler 2003-06-19 13:44:54 UTC
US->ilija:
pls. attach a bugdoc that clearly shows the error.
Otherwise I consider this issue to be solved/workarounded.

Reprioritizing: 'P2' is for crashes. But judged from the statement
below, I consider this a minor problem.
