Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 105380
Crash when adding an animation to bubble chart
Last modified: 2017-07-29 12:45:12 UTC
I created a new bubble chart in Impress and added an animation end titles (Abspann in german) to the new chart. During the preview of the animation OOo crashes. I set SAL_SYNCHRONIZE to 1 and get the following in my shell: X-Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode: 155 Minor opcode: 4 Resource ID: 0x107 Serial No: 270074 (270074) System: openSuSE 11.1-x64, KDE 4.3.1, OOo 3.2m60-i586

Please attach the document for reproducing. Thanks.
@wg: As I described, I created a new impress document (default master) with a bubble chart (default data) and added the described animation. I have no special document to upload.
Could not find 'End Titles', is it a custom animation for the selected object "OLE BubbleChart' or a slide transition? Checked german version, it's 'Movie credits'. Checked on 4.0.1 and my current trunk version on Win7 (AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1569541), works well. Maybe done with my changes to better access the chart/OLE data as primitives, so eventual older problems with accessing the chart graphic data in various situations bay have been solved.
I have tried to replicate this bugreport on Linux Mint with Openoffice 4.1.0 build 9764 rev. 1589052 LINUX X86_64. - create bubble chart in empty presentation - select Slide Show > Custom Animation... - I went through *all* the slide transitions No bad behavior was observed, let alone a crash. Since OpenSuse 11.1 is out of support since 2011, I suggest this bug should be reproduced on a more current OpenSuSE platform. On Windows this is also not reproducible, but that is to be expected since the error indicates a problem with X. Tested on: Dell Vostro 400 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G84 [GeForce 8600 GTS] (rev a1) Linux machine.hq.local 3.11.0-20-generic Xorg: Version: 1:7.7+1ubuntu6 nvidia driver: Version: 304.88-0ubuntu8 Arjen Verweij (2014-JUN-06)
