Description michael_rabus 2009-09-13 12:03:13 UTC
If I select an entire row in calc and try to cut the row (move to the
clipboard), only the values of the row are cut and the cells were cleared. The
selected row still exists.
Then I can paste all the values in a new, empty row or an existing row. Then
it's possible to overwrite the existing values. The selected row I cutted was
not inserted.

@michael_rabus:
Your description is correct, but what do you think is wrong with the current
behaviour (and why)?
Comment 2 michael_rabus 2009-09-14 06:58:45 UTC
I expect, that all selected objects would be cut. If I select the whole row
including the row head, the whole row should be cut and copy in the clipboard.
So it would be a difference, if I select all the cells of a row or the row
including the head with the row number.

@michael_rabus:
The wohle row CONTENTS will be copied. Please attach a sample document and
explain precisely what you criticise like "I expect new column headers order
1,3,2,4". If you expect some particular behaviour, please cite some Help
contents to support your theory.

Before you file further issues or post again here, please read our guidelines on
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html> and
<http://www.openoffice.org/bugs/bug_writing_guidelines.html>, then
contribute a clear step by step instruction containing all observations (error
messages ...), _every_key_press_and_every_mouse_click_ how to reproduce the
problem, and explain why you believe that your results are unexpected.
That means (for example):
 do not write something like „I am not able to ...“, but
 „6. left mouse click on …
     expected: …, color of … changes, …
     actual: no …., color remains white, no …
