Description ahoughton 2009-08-28 17:46:11 UTC
Impress crashes each time I have it open in slide show view and connected to an
LCD projector. When press the toggle on the laptop to mirror the display between
the laptop and the projector Impress crashes and brings up the crash reporter.
This occurs only when Impress is only in the slide show view, if I connect and
toggle the projector first it seems to work. I say seems as the presentation
freezes in the middle of it, like it is about to crash. Modifying the install
did not resolve the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you send a crash report and which error ID did you receive?
Comment 2 ahoughton 2009-08-31 14:31:39 UTC
Yes. I submitted 2 crash reports and the error id's were r2jtcdc and r8jtcdc.

Thanks for the fast reply.
Reassigned. @cl: anything visible from the stack?

The same problem confirmed many times on different Windows XP computers. I use
Impress very often on conferences where there's no possibility to connect the
computer earlier. When you start presentation before connecting to LCD projector
(people shouln't see my program and desktop) - it always crash and people see
how you go throught the crash reporter. It's not a good recomendation for Impress :(

cl->af: sounds duplicate to your laptop crash?
Comment 8 groucho266 2010-06-07 16:29:07 UTC
Yes, this looks like a duplicate of issue 109050. The stacks look a little
different, but they are not very conclusive, anyway.
