Can't reproduce in any version.
Comment 3 mprowe 2002-12-19 12:57:00 UTC
Ah . . . Which client protocol were you using?
I have now found that the ICA (6.2) protocol works but RDP (5.0 and
5.1) does not?
I appriciate that this may not now be an OOo issue. But . . . . can
you offer any thoughts?
Comment 4 Unknown 2003-01-08 17:27:35 UTC
Same issue on Windows 2000 Terminal Server SP2 / Citrix Metaframe
1.8 with OOO 1.0.1 (with both RDP and ICA protocol).
I can't reproduce on Windows XP / OOO 1.0.0
But I'm not sure it is Terminal Server related since it is very
similar to issue 5520.

JA->JSK: could you have a look at this ?
Comment 6 prgmgr 2003-06-17 15:33:33 UTC
Does this problem still exist in the latest release of OOo ( 1.0.3.1 )
Comment 7 joerg.skottke 2003-06-17 17:35:40 UTC
hmm. would have been helpful to change the owner to me, folks ;)
I will have a look as soon as i do the next Citrix-session.

owner to me.

prgmgr@openoffice.org asks: "Does this problem still exist in the
latest release of OOo ( 1.0.3.1 )"?

Answer: Yes - for me anyway.

I just had a look at this but i am unable to reproduce it. I am using
the rdp protocol with the office running as normal user. Tests from
some tima ego didn't have such problems either.

There must be something special to your configuration somehow. I can
image something like that might happen if you have two instances of
the office opened or are using the quickstart-feature. Can you please
check this?

No I am not using the QuickStart. And no, there are no other
instances of Office running. Additional information not logged so far:
1)DrWatson reports an “Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)”
2)Fault noted in Writer and HTML Editor
3)Fault NOT seen in Impress and Draw

Please try using the latest OOo 1.1 Rc5,
Your version already old enough, and many bug fixes since your version
and 1.1 RC5. If the problem still happend in 1.1 RC5 please report back
Comment 12 joerg.skottke 2003-09-24 09:47:03 UTC
I remember that we had similar problems back when we started with
Citrix and OOo. But these problems were related to the office running
with enabled Quickstarter. Did you try to disable it? The crash
indicates that two different users are somehow sharing one configuration.

However, i will ask a developer to have a look at the drwatson-file.

Reassigning to TRA

In case this is an issue, i've set the target to 1.1.1
Comment 13 tino.rachui 2003-09-26 12:08:26 UTC
Hi,

the DRWatson output is nearly useless to me as it doesn't show in
which library the crash happens. Just some ordinal numbers are given
but finding the culprit based on this rare informations is more like
guessing. My advice is to test it with the latest OOo version in case
the problem still exist the new crash reporter should be of much more
help in locating the problem.
Kind Regards,
Tino

Can you still reproduce this (w/o quickstarter)?
