Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 101643
WW8: link of linked_and_embedded graphic imported as text
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:19:43 UTC
I opened a word document into OpenOffice and there is a line of text ( a link) which is not present in the original document if opened in Microsoft Word. Also, when I save it as HTML only one page number is mentioned on the top (page 8). I am attaching a zip file, containing the following: 1.Original document - named : Compiling_Java.doc (This document can be opened into openoffice to see the problem. ) 2.Document saved as HTML Document = named : Compiling_Java.html 3.Screen shot indicating the unwanted text, which is not present if document is opened in MS office. Thanks Salman
Created attachment 62076 [details] Zip file containing, original document, HTML document(and associated files) and Screen shot indicating the un-wanted text.
Assigning to the owner of the Writer component to triage. Thanks SAlman
It's a failed import of MS-Word field. @MRU: Please have a look.
MRU->HBRINKM: the graphic in the text is linked AND embedded into the document. It looks, that the import is confused by that fact and additionally imports the link of the graphic.
Adjusting target.
Forgot to reassign.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
