Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 100972
Two hyperlinks in one calc cell: link is lost after 'save' action
Last modified: 2009-05-22 13:25:50 UTC
When I put two hyperlinks in a single CALC cell (separated by a space or a hard return or whatever) the hyperlinks both work fine, until I save and reload the sheet. Both links are converted to 'plain' text in blue (different from normal hyperlink colours) Note that I've not thoroughly tested this issue. It happened to me on a rather large document, with MARK CHANGES turned on. I use the Dutch translation of OOo, latest version.
I checked with "Ooo 3.1.0 RC1 multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO310m9 (Build 9396)]" and can NOT confirm the reported effect @reneknuvers: Pls. attach a sample document and a more detailed description how to reproduce the problem.
See also issue 101023.
The saved file is an XLS file, Microsoft Excel. Forgot to mention this in the original issue report.
Pls. feel free to reopen this issue if you can provide an informative basis that EXCEL is able to handle 2 different hyperlinks within one single cell.
Confirming m47 on WinXP - saving to .xls looses hyperlink.
after checking with Excel2003 it turns out that Excel would not allow two hyperlinks in cell. Resolving as invalid.
Closing.
