Description mroe 2009-04-07 17:13:03 UTC
The same as http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93564 for OOo 3.0 was.

If a new version will be installed beside an older version, the menu entries
should not be overwritten.
Comment 1 Olaf Felka 2009-04-22 07:30:17 UTC
Installing OOo 3.1 with 'dpkg -i' will update an existing OOo 3.0.x version.
That's the expected behavior. Installing several OOo versions beside is not a
use case. Especially not the desktop integration.
Comment 2 Olaf Felka 2009-06-17 09:21:46 UTC
won't be fixed
Comment 3 mroe 2014-03-14 14:27:50 UTC
I reopen these old issue because my opinion is, if a new version is _not_ an update of an installed version, so the icons of the previous version and furthermore installed version should not be killed.

I can have OOo2, OOo3, AOO4 installed on Ubuntu at the same time. But I can have only one set of icons for the version that is installed at last.
