It's not the outbound SVN server, see the partial log below. BTW since when is
something like this Prio 1?

Comment 3 stx123 2009-03-13 14:10:38 UTC
It seems the OpenOffice.org main site doesn't accept messages from the svn host.
This is not specific to the list allsvn as recipient but doesn't work for
st@openoffice.org neither.
Reassigning to support...

Here is the error message from the mx host (cylon2.sjc.collab.net):

Comment 8 Unknown 2009-03-25 14:51:51 UTC
I have an internal ticket to check if there are any restriction on the
cylon2.sjc.collab.net. I will get back as soon as I have more updates on this.

Thanks

Team,

I did check with the internal team and could see that we are not blocking any
users@ email or any blocking rules. (Though we do block the spam mails)

Upon checking the mailing list I could see that there has been mails hitting the
mailing list normally. Can you please confirm if this issue is still present ?

Meanwhile I would check if there is anything further to this issue.

Thanks
Sindhu

Yes, the issue still persists.
Comment 11 IngridvdM 2009-04-06 09:21:09 UTC
Adding me to CC as I am missing this functionality also.
Comment 12 Unknown 2009-04-20 13:53:12 UTC
Can you help us locate the "oosvn01" computer, something like an IP adddress?
From header it is not able to talk cylon1/cylon2.

We checked cylon1/2 & everything seems to be accepted and successful mail
deliveries.

We don't see any filed attempts from cylon1/2 post into allsvn.

Regards,
ramya
Comment 13 stx123 2009-04-21 17:06:52 UTC
The externally visible IP address is 64.79.150.245.
The machine *is* able to talk to cylon1.sjc.collab.net but cylon1/2 close the
SMTP connection with error "554 5.0.0 Service unavailable".

Comment 14 Unknown 2009-04-23 07:34:04 UTC
St

We checked the IP(64.79.150.245) & the problem is that owner of this server (IP)
didn't configure DNS correctly.

There is no reverse DNS record for 64.79.150.245 IP.

$ host 64.79.150.245
Host 245.150.79.64.in-addr.arpa not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Without reverse DNS records, CollabNet anti-spam appliances won't accept
connection. No reverse DNS records is common sign that remote server
is spammer. If this is legit user, there must be reverse DNS record
present.

Please, refer to following for more info:

Reverse DNS requirement

RFC 1033 in the "INSTRUCTIONS" section, and later, RFC 1912 Section 2.1 state:
"Every Internet-reachable host should have a name "; and "make sure your PTR and
A records match".

Ramya
