Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 100024
unexpected error after deleting table formatted with valid font size
Last modified: 2009-03-23 17:13:19 UTC
The steps below is showing how to reproduce the failure : 1.Create a 5x5 sea blue color style table (this is the default color in my installation) 2.Type some text in all the cells in the top row of the table. 3.Highlight all cells in the top row of the table and click on the Table Properties on the table toolbar 4.Change the font size from the default value (18-point) to the valid value of 6 point and hit OK. 5.Click on the border of the table to select the whole table, and press the Del button on the keyboard to delete the table. 6.Exit OpenOffice. A dialog-box will appear asking whether to save the file or to discard the file. Click on the Discard button, and exit OpenOffice. Result: The sizes of the fonts in the top row show a decrease. However, after exiting, an error message informing OpenOffice crash appears. This is the error message : “Due to an unexpected error, OpenOffice.org crashed. All the files you were working on will now be saved. The next time OpenOffice.org is launched, your files will be recovered automatically.†Thereafter, OpenOffice restarts, shows the bug-reporting screen. On clicking the Cancel button to skip the bug-reporting step, OpenOffice displays the start- up menu and waits on the user to select an application from a list, to launch. OpenOffice does not exit . My configuration is OOO 3.0.1 Window Vista Laptop:Toshiba Genuine Intel CPU T2080 1.73 GHz Memory: 2 GB Also , I used another configuration OOO 3.0.1 Window Vista Desktop:HP Intel CPU AMD Dual Core proessor 2.60 GHz Memory: 3 GB
