Changing this to an install issue. Do you get any errors during the install? When using the OpenOffice.org binary, did you do a multi-user install followed by a workstation install for the user? I have never considered that it might be a wm issue. I will try it out with twm (the only other wm I have (or wish) to install, and report back, but I don't anticipate Afterstep to be the problem, because OOo did work for me in pre-1.0 days on RedHat 6.2. I have never neen able to run it on RedHat 7.3 Works for me on RH 7.3 I can't reproduce. |
