Hi-

I'm new and was playing with the presentation program. I had 3 slides, one with an image that was inserted using ctu and paset. I opened the
"3d graphics" and saw various torii. When I scrolled down the program said it was crashing and saving files.

Each time I open the presentation it asks do I want tp recover the file. I click yes, then it crashes again.
There are 4 exec.sav files in Oppenoffice/user/backup that I could submit if you can show me how.

windows98 1.0.1 downloadef 8/28/02

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

I could open the attached restore file. The save file attached was a
OOo formula file.

I'd recommend choosing "No" when asked to recover the file.

For now, I'm going to close this issue. If you can cause the
presentation program to crash consistently, please feel free to
reopen this issue and include step by step instructions on how to
reproduce the problem.

i seem to have trouble with 3d objects in impress.

from a new installation (note there was no java runtime found)
windows 98 start>oopenoffice>impress
           autopilot empty page, create
blank slide, click horizontal tool bar gallery
                            click verticla tool 3d
                            try to insert blue torus.

popup window saying unrecoverable error, but files saved.
trying to restore the saved file crashes automatically.

Thanks for including the attachment.

Unable to duplicate, RH 8.0, OOo 643.

Crash recover file opens fine. Contains a 3D object.

Similiar to issue 6050.

Marking as a dup.
