From: User who submitted issue I've subsequently found that the application crashes when scrolling through function icons. No need to click on & scroll through "Buttons." Mark, thanks for posting. Can you list the hardware ( video, processor, etc ) and OS ( version, patches/service packs ) that you are running OO on? Are there detailed error messages or logs we can use to reproduce this issue? Unable to duplicate issue on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OO 1.0.1. TM->UHE: Can you please have a look, thanks ! Not reproducible, works for me under Win2k - OOo 1.0.1. Waiting for more information about error messages and which hardware is used. User comments below: Thank you for working on this! In answer to your common question (quoted below), the machine was a Dell desktop -- I think a Pentium III, 64 MB RAM, running Win98 (2nd edition? -- the one just prior to ME). ESET NOD32 anti-virus was resident. Few if any other significant TSRs. It's my computer at work. At home, running XP on a Compaq Prosignia (Pent II-366) I don't have the problem. If the above hardware info isn't enough to reproduce the crash, please e-mail me at mjv@nlcsylvan.com (my work e-mail), & I'll reply w/a complete hardware profile. There were no detailed error messages apart from what I wrote in my original report. If you know of a log I could look at in Win98, let me know. - Mark This is fixed since 643x. This caused through that fact OOO uses too much resources to display all available images (the GDI object count in the task manager rises from about 100 to 1250)! Fixed, therefore closed *** Issue 6215 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
