Small document to help demonstrate/reproduce the crash
I wonder if that is related to issue 6105, another document that has some troubles with layout updates where there are two columns Bug Replicated using the example document given by the author K U Schuermann. Replicated on Platform : PC OpenOffice version : 643C OS : Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 2 But the bug doesn't occur all the time when the paragraph break falls at the end of the first column and we type on the last line of the 2nd column. It would be quite interesting to find out the exact conditions in which the bug occurs and to reproduce the bug using the conditions. Since the bug causes a fatal freeze of the writer it sounds like this bug should be given a high priority for fixing. The following follow-up tests can be carried out in order to learn more about the bug: 1. Change the Font attributes such as type, size and boldness. 2. Change the number of columns. 3. Change the spacing between columns. ES->AMA: still a loop as described in a 644p FME: I'll have a look. FME: Changed sw/source/core/text/widorp.cxx rev. 1.9 FME: Fixed in SRX644v verified in a 644i.8494 ES->kuschuermann: please verify and close in a build >= 644v. Why is the status still on new? Set it to resolved fixed, seems to be the correct one. close issue. |
